Costco Gas Holiday Hours 2026
Next closure
Thanksgiving: Thursday, November 26, 2026
No. Costco gas stations are closed on Thanksgiving Day. The Wednesday before is one of the busiest days of the year at the pumps, so go early.
Costco gas is closed on 7 holidays in 2026: New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day. The pumps close with the warehouses and reopen at normal hours the next day. Every other holiday is a normal day at the pump, except Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, when hours are cut short.
Holiday hours are Costco policy, not something the pumps report, so a local exception is always possible. Your station’s page on costco.com and the Costco app list adjusted holiday hours and closures about a week ahead.

Getting gas around a holiday
Fill up the day before, early. The days before a closure (July 3rd, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, December 24th) are among the busiest at Costco pumps. The first hour after opening is the quietest.
Normal hours the rest of the time. Most US Costco gas stations open at 6 a.m. on ordinary days. See Costco gas hours for every station, with live open-or-closed status.
Holiday prices. Pump prices often rise into a long weekend. Check the cheapest Costco gas today or Costco gas near you before you go. For the background on closures and after-hours rules, see Is Costco gas open 24/7?
